You are invited to join us for our 3rd annual farm-to-table culinary competition and fundraising event, The Artisan Cup & Fork!

Eight regionally renowned chefs will team-up with family-run farms to prepare a seasonally inspired signature dish and face off in this local food fight to remember. The dishes will be judged by a prestigious panel of experts and a public vote. All proceeds benefit The Land Connection and our mission to grow the local food economy both on and off the farm.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Will I be hungry at the end?

Absolutely not! You’ll have samples of the 5 menu items from the chefs, tasty cakes for dessert, beer and spirit samples, soda, and coffee.

Will there be a live demonstration this year?

No, we won’t have a live on-stage demo this year, but we will have a bottle pull and a raffle (see below for more details).  And, of course, we’ll have the competition for best chef!  You can vote for your favorite and our panel of judges will vote for theirs.

What’s included?

Food samples from our chefs.  Samples from our local brewers and distillers.  Dessert and coffee.  Soda.  An amazing time!

What’s not included?

There is a cash bar on-site if you’d like to purchase additional (or different) alcoholic beverages.

What is a bottle pull?

This is our twist on a wine pull.  We know there is more goodness to be found in bottles than just wine, so we’ve expanded the offerings to include spirits, olive oil, honey, and local homer soda.  When you buy a ticket you are guaranteed to walk away with a bottle of something delicious.

Do I need to bring cash?

We can take either cash or credit cards for our bottle pull and our 50/50+ raffle.  The bar will also take cash or credit cards.  If you’d like to make an additional donation to The Land Connection, we can take cash, personal checks, or credit cards.

I can’t make it, is there anything I can do to help?

You can donate products to our bottle pull, or make a general donation to help support The Land Connection.  Please contact Taidghin O’Brien via email at taidghin@thelandconnection.org if you have items to donate, or visit our website to make a general donation.
